The Games Growth Agency is teaming up with Bird & Bird to put on a bite-sized summit at London’s very first SXSW

The Games Growth Agency has curated panels for a bite-sized Games Growth Summit, which will take place during the very first SXSW in London.

The micro-summit will bring together insightful voices from around the games industry (including Riot Games, Kepler Interactive, Frontier Developments, Rovio Entertainment, Dlala Studios, DDA and more) for two speaker sessions. In the first one, panellists will discuss self-publishing for indies, and in the second one the panel will discuss adapting video properties into other mediums.

The event is happening in partnership with the international law firm Bird & Bird, and will take place on June 2, 2025.

“We’re incredibly honoured to have been selected to curate this special edition of the Games Growth Summit as part of the first-ever SXSW London,” said the Games Growth Agency’s Vanessa Joyce.

“Partnering with Bird & Bird and Secret Sauce and bringing together such a dynamic mix of industry leaders — from global publishers to breakout indie voices — reflects our commitment to creating a space where meaningful conversations and connections can thrive. ”

The event at SXSW London is free to attend, and you can register to get a ticket here.

Disclosure: Alex Boucher and Vanessa Joyce are members of the team at MCV/DEVELOP, and regularly work on its business development, including its advertising and sponsorship sales.
