Jasper Tanner-Barnes is the new Chief Portfolio Officer at Fireshine Games

Fireshine Games has appointed Jasper Tanner-Barnes as its Chief Portfolio Officer.

The role has been newly created for Tanner-Barnes, who was previously working at Team17 on both talent acquisition and game scouting. At his previous firm he was instrumental in the signing of games like Conscript, Sworn, Dredge and the sandbox dating simulator Date Everything! which is set to release in June this year.

In a press release announcing Tanner-Barnes’ new job, Fireshine has also said that in his new role he will now be responsible for “building the company’s network of external development partners, securing and maintaining long-term business partnerships, and determining Fireshine Games’ portfolio strategy” as well as overseeing any acquisitions and related biz dev.

“We’re delighted to be able to welcome Jasper to Fireshine Games,” said Brian Foote, CEO of Fireshine Games.

“The knowledge, passion and experience he brings will help us build deeper relationships with developers and partners and take Fireshine Games towards the next chapter in our journey.”

Fireshine Games was first established back in 2014, is currently best known for games like Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt. It also provides boxed publishing support to other studios.
