SEGA has teamed up with NewGen for its new social content strategy

SEGA and socials agency NewGen have teamed up to ‘supercharge’ their online content strategy on sites like TikTok and Instagram.

NewGen says its mission is to “bring SEGA’s vibrant gaming worlds closer to its community” and that they will do that with ‘gameplay-led content’ that they hope will increase their fans’ engagement on branded social channels.

The agency has a storied track record of success, and has already worked with some of the world’s biggest brand names and companies, including Epic Games, Activision, Rovio, Samsung, KFC and Pepsi.

“At SEGA, we want to work with partners who understand our ethos, can help drive our brand forward, and ultimately become an extension to our team,” said Dan Lazarides, VP of central marketing at SEGA Europe. “We’re excited at the prospect of invigorating our social content offering with NewGen on board.”

“Gaming is built on passion, creativity, and community — three things that sit at the heart of what we do at NewGen,” added Mike Craddock, CEO of NewGen. “SEGA is an iconic brand with a legacy of innovation, and we can’t wait to push the boundaries of what’s possible in gaming content.”
