Develop:Brighton is now accepting speaker applications for its 2025 conference

Tandem Events has launched an open call for speakers for the Develop:Brighton 2025 conference.

The annual conference will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole between Tuesday, July 8, 2025 and Thursday, July 10, 2025, and as usual will bring a lot of the UK games industry together to not only expand their networks but share their valuable ideas, knowledge and experiences with each other in the hopes that video games can continue to improve as a whole.

Tandem has said in a press release that this year’s event “is all about offering high quality sessions with practical take-aways and vocational content, so our delegates can ‘skill-up’ and make even better games.”

“… whether you’re from the biggest studio or a micro indie, whatever your background and whatever your experience, if you have an idea for a talk on anything game dev related, then we want to hear from you.” it continued, encouraging people from studios of all sizes, backgrounds and experience levels to get involved, especially those from under-represented communities within the industry.

Those that have never given a talk before will also be offered additional support, and can be paired with an experienced mentor that will be able to help them better prepare their presentations for the event. People that do become speakers at the event will also receive a complimentary pass to the rest of the conference, as well as a variety of publicity opportunities.

Tandem and the Develop Conference are currently looking for speaker submissions on:

  • AI
  • ART
  • AUDIO
  • BUSINESS
  • CODING
  • DISCOVERABILITY
  • INDIE
  • INDIE BOOTCAMP
  • MOBILE
  • ROUNDTABLES
  • VR/AR

If you’d like to get involved, you can do that over on the Develop Conference website.

The window for new Develop:Brighton speaker submissions will only be open until February 24, 2025, so be sure to get your pitches in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you’d like to save on the cost of your tickets, you can get a 10% discount on ticket prices as an MCV/DEVELOP reader with our promo code: KCSXKW
