ICYMI: Nominations for the MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards 2023 are now open!

The MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards are returning this September and aim to once again recognise and celebrate the exceptional female talent across all sectors of the UK games industry, from development and business to education, journalism, and marketing. But of course, we need your help in the form of your nominations!

You have the opportunity to nominate yourself, your friends, your coworkers, and any other women in the video games industry whose accomplishments you would like to highlight.

There are 11 categories to choose from this year, so please take the time to select those most applicable to your nominees. You’ll need to provide us with their name, the company they work for, a contact email, and a supporting statement of no more than 750 words that showcases their remarkable achievements.

Before nominating someone, please ensure that they are aware of your intentions, especially if they do not identify as a woman.

Nominations will close at the end of June (date TBD). Then, once the shortlist has been determined, a distinguished panel of judges will select the ultimate winners. These will be announced at an exclusive ceremony at the America Square Conference Centre in London on September 26th.

This year will be the 10th MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards, so it aims to be an extra special occasion. With your nominations, you can help make it the biggest and best so far.
